An outstanding speaker with a degree in psychology, Aaron won first place in the 2019 District 96 Toastmasters Evaluation Speech Contest and second place in the 2019 District 96 Toastmasters International Speech Contest, competing with many of the best speakers from BC and Yukon. Aaron gives clear and concise feedback for each student. His teaching, full of humor and passion, invigorates the entire class.
Connor is an award-winning public speaker with over 6 years of experience in leading classes, clubs, training sessions, and events. His confidence, attention to detail, and charisma allow him to lead, educate, and entertain consistently, irrelevant of situation. Connor has significant experience teaching in both English and Mandarin, allowing him to connect with audiences almost anywhere.
After being almost homeless several years ago, David Fisher is now an award-winning international speaker and author. He has over a thousand hours of stage time and has spoken to a variety of organizations including: Cirque Du Soleil, Be Inspired, TEDx, IM Communications in Indonesia, Toastmasters Conferences, Supply Chain Canada, Transition and Orientation Professionals, and Create Change Now. He has coached other speakers for events such as Future V, Get Inspired, TEDx Stanley Park, and Tony Robbins Power of Success.
Gwen of One Conversation Coaching & Facilitation helps people resolve issues to achieve personal, professional and relationship goals. Her public-speaking engagements include “Happiness is a Paradigm Shift” for TEDxBCIT and she was the Head Speaker Coach for two cohorts of TEDxECUAD at Emily Carr University. Gwen taught Communication and Public Speaking Courses at Langara College and the Vancouver School Board. She was the National Mentorship Program Developer and Coordinator with the Women in Leadership Foundation. Gwen began her career in Social Work and Coaching Life Skills, working with youth at risk and their families. Gwen cares for her students and happily goes the extra mile for them.
Alison worked with BBC in UK for more than 10 years. After moving to Canada, she worked as the Provincial Judgefor “BC Communities in Bloom” for 9 years. Alison was the coach of TEDx@WhiteRock, and she has been teaching public speaking for children and youth for years.
Kevin is a lawyer called to the BC Bar in 2016. He has received numerous awards and achievements, including the Blake Cassels & Graydon LLP Prize in Canadian Constitutional Law, the Begbie Trophy for mooting in BC, the J.S.D. Tory Prize for Advocacy, and the Dr. Ira Dilworth Prize in English. He designs and teaches the Canadian Law and Moot Court Program at Future V Institute.
