Future V Institute is a Vancouver (BC) based company dedicated to public speaking and leadership training for children and youth. We offer courses for ages 6-17, helping them to overcome the fear of public speaking, learn how to create a network of connections, gain effective communication and speaking skills, and become a confident, freely expressive version of themselves.

•   All-in-One  : Our innovative “Connections” value system, unique 10-level curriculum, professional and experienced coaching team, and close-knit parent-school relationship all come together to create a powerful educational experience for all of our students.

•   Engaging program  : Our program is divided into 5 phases, for a total of 10 levels of speaking skills – with embedded value propositions, step-by-step learning programs, all put together in elegantly designed and professionally printed textbooks.

•   Proven success  : Each student sees significant improvements after training. Some have even stood on a bigger stage at both national and international events. Most importantly, they have all gained CONFIDENCE in speaking and in themselves!

We help each and every one of them to achieve their highest possible potential, using professional methods and our exclusive “Connections” curriculum system.

Each child is unique.

Program Introduction

The goal of this curriculum series is simple: teach students how to create a network of connections. To do that, we build a foundation in public speaking, which helps students in an area where there is no consistent education in our public school system.

To build that foundation, we use a system of expanding circles, with each circle representing a wider network of connections. The circles, in order, are: Me, You, Us, We, Society.

The connections our students learn to build are what connects them with their Future Victory, whatever that victory may be.

Me : The Foundations of Speaking

The most challenging part of public speaking is overcoming our fears on stage. Our first circle, “Me”, helps to build each student’s confidence and communications skills. Before we can connect with anyone else, we need to be confident in, and comfortable with, ourselves.

You : Emotional Intelligence

After we become comfortable with ourselves, we can turn our attention to building a connection with someone else: “You.” In the circle of “You,” we move through connecting with another individual. Students will learn how to see another person’s perspective, and inject a speech with energy and emotion. As a speaker, It’s not about me, it’s about YOU!

Us : Leadership / We : Mentoring

The circles of “Us” & “We” move upwards to larger and larger groups, teaching how to lead a team, and then how to lead and teach leaders. Students at this level are already powerful speakers, able to create engaging content, and deliver it masterfully in a speech. They can speak with confidence on any stage.

Society : Critical Thinking & Art of Compromise
The final circle discusses how to interact with and impact society as a whole.
Students will be exposed to a new concept — critical thinking. Critical thinking helps to solve problems intelligently and effectively. It is the stepping stone to success for thousands of worldwide corporations, and is a key element prestigious schools look for in possible students.

One interesting thing about our books is that all the covers and illustrations are created by students! You can find their names under their drawings.

Besides the regular speaking class, Future V invites the well-known speakers and coaches for the “Master’s Class” workshop, where students learn advanced craft for certain topics.
